Since 1984, Day Cable has been actively involved in the management and leasing of commercial real estate in the Austin area and throughout the State of Texas. For more than 18 years, Day Cable has been involved in the negotiation and completion of 275+ lease transactions, totaling over 650,000 square feet. Currently, the Day Cable Company represents six office, retail and/or commercial properties. Our properties cover a broad range of sizes and styles, from a six-story downtown multi-tenant office building to a single-tenant retail property (leased NNN), as well as a suburban courtyard style office complex. In addition to the third party management functions, our partnership owns several office and retail properties. We provide all functions of the management process including accounting with financial reporting and contracting management staff and maintenance personnel. Prior and present clients include Lumbermen’s Investment Corporation, First Interstate Bank, ERISA Administrative Services, as well as Wells Fargo Bank. (See references and letters of recommendation below) Prior to forming his own business, Mr. Cable was Vice President in charge of the Austin operations for Fuller Commercial Services – a statewide real estate company. In this capacity, he performed the management and leasing functions for over 1,000,000 square feet of Austin area properties. Before entering commercial real estate, Mr. Cable was a member of former US Senator Lloyd Bentsen’s staff and served as the former Executive Assistant to Railroad Commissioner Arthur “Buddy” Temple III. Day and his family currently reside in Lakeway, Texas. Day has been actively managing and leasing Austin area commercial properties since 1983. He holds a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
